XEXAMAI Privacy Policy

General
XEXAMAI is designed with privacy in mind. It can operate fully locally — audio is processed on your machine and third-party servers are not required. API keys never leave your device.
Processing modes
Two modes are available: local (offline) and API mode. In local mode, data never leaves the device. In API mode, only short audio snippets and context are sent to a selected provider based on your settings.
Data transmission
In API mode, short audio fragments and context may be sent to services like OpenAI or Google. Transmission uses secure channels. We do not store your audio or keep persistent content logs.
Screenshots processing
If you use the screenshot feature, submitted screen captures are always sent to an LLM provider via API for analysis to generate hints. Transmission occurs only for captures you explicitly submit. This feature is available to holders only.
Screenshot content scope
Screenshots can contain sensitive information. Avoid submitting content with personal data, secrets, or confidential materials unless you have the right to share them. The app does not automatically redact screenshots.

Screenshots are sent via API only when you choose to submit them.
Wallet-based authentication
If you choose wallet sign-in, we verify ownership by asking you to sign a zero-value transaction or message. We receive your public wallet address and the signature for verification. No funds are moved, and we do not take custody of your assets.
Key storage
API keys are stored locally and used solely for user-initiated requests. Keys are not shared with us and can be revoked at any time.
Analytics and logs
By default, XEXAMAI does not use remote analytics. Local diagnostic logs may be kept. Crash or error reports are sent only with explicit user consent.
User rights
You can delete local data and keys at any time and disable API mode. For data-related questions, use the contacts listed in the Community section.
